President - Wenyan Wu
The president is required to supervise the overall progress and success of the Club and its projects, oversee all SHAPE Officers and Committee Coordinators, ensure that all committees are on track and meeting their deadlines, lead the 20 SHAPE meetings, submit important data into the SHAPE website, allow for time to commit to SHAPE in your schedule, communicate with the SHAPE Advisor about any challenges so that they can be addressed quickly, report to the SHAPE Advisor, skills used: organization, responsibility, time management, presentation/ speaking, delegation, written and oral communication abilities, and effective leadership, ideally, this position should be filled by an upperclassman, however this is not required.
Vice President - Ivonne Lollett
The vice president is required to assist the President with all of his/her responsibilities, lead meetings when the President is not available, organize icebreakers at several meetings, especially in the beginning of the year, oversee the Public Relations Coordinator, Meeting Coordinator, and Photographer to ensure that they complete their tasks in a timely manner and , they have all the resources needed for their positions, report to the President, skills used: organization, responsibility, time management, communication, and leadership, recommended that this position is not a senior so that they can use the current year's experience to lead the group next year as President. ........ .
Secretary -
The secretary is required to record the minutes (notes) from all of the SHAPE meetings and keep an accurate record for the group to look back on throughout the year, submit attendance report into the SHAPE website after each meeting, report to the President, skills used: written communication, organizational, computer, and teamwork.
Treasurer - Phillip McEnany
The treasurer is required to manage the Club's financial records with the assistance of the Advisor while following the school's financial procedures, direct the Budgeting Activity where the Club will determine how to use the $350 start up donation. (See Meeting Agenda #3), maintain a current Budget throughout the year showing all money coming in: (through fundraising) and going out (expenses), present a budget report at each meeting, work with the Fundraising Committee Coordinator to determine the revenues and expenses during the fundraising activity, report to the President, skills used: financial management (math and basic accounting), communication and Cooperation.
Historian - Duy Trong
The historian is required to take photos (and videos if possible) of the Club members in meetings, vvorking on the community service project during the fundraiser, etc. Report to Vice President, skills used: creativity, photography and computer, having a digital camera available to use is a plus!.
